Experiences, Work progress and Sentiments

According to Mrs. Dung, managers should have excellent organizing, delegating, leading and analyzing skills, as well as the capacity to closely monitor both individual and group tasks.

The hardest time, she recalled, was when she first joined SnB. Taking over a director’s responsibility, she began to rebuild the company’s HR system, as well as rules and procedures. However, there were clashes between hers and the conventional viewpoint. Gradually, alongside the CEOs and other directors, they reached a compromise and carried out necessary adjustments on a corporate level.

“You cannot please everyone” but each and every employee has their own opinions about the company’s strategies and plans. Mrs. Dung swiftly overcomes this hurdle by working with well-versed staff in the Administration Department, prioritizing collective benefits over individual criticisms. In addition, when a task is completed, she always calls for a review meeting to identify where improvements could be made, in order to achieve better performances in the future.

Mrs.Dung said that HR is the sensitive position because you play an intermediary role when concurrently following the oders of the Board of Directors and ensuring the benefits for employees. With humble gratitude, she thanks the empathic Board of Directors for always showing great consideration for subordinates’ benefits, expressing an employee-centric point of view.

Besides valuable lessons, SnB brings Mrs. Dung unforgettable memories. Among those, the company’s team-building events stand out the most. As the main organizer for these events, she has experienced a wide range of emotions. From the enthusiastic preparation to surprisingly exciting performances of each department, everything makes a long-lasting impression on her heart.
